Biography

Lost Winter was born in the winter of 2012-13 by Richard Westwood, a bored guitarist living in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. By spring 2013 Lost Winter had been joined by vocalist Charlotte Francis of Leeds based Rhythm Aire. Richard and Charlotte first met at university but didn’t start writing music together until recently. To complete the line up Richard asked his old friend Richard Flynn to provide bass guitar.

To date, Lost Winter have released the ’Winter’, ’Spring’, ’Summer’ and 'Autumn’ EPs as well as a number of singles. This was followed by Lost Winter's debut album, Long Distance Journeys, in 2015 and Fading Voices, Forgotten Stone in 2016.

Since the beginning of the project Lost Winter has been lucky enough to have been featured on many radio shows and music blogs presented by amazing people who champion independent music.

Rich is currently working on a series of singles that will be released throughout 2017 on CDR only.
